Flingh C is now for sale!!!  See our sales page for more information.

Flingh's last two shows were fantastic!  At the Marston Plantation Schooling show in October, he scored a 75.9 for first place in Training Level Test 2, and a 69 for fourth in Training 4...he had a major baby moment in that test, but still did quite well in a large class.

At the Camden Pumpkin Patch USDF Recognized show, November 5, he WON Training level Test 2 with a 66+%, and was Third in Training Level Test 4 with a 65.9%.  Both classes were large, with at least a dozen horses in the T4 class!!  He is the most calm, cool collected three year old around.  He acted like a seasoned pro, and had two extremely steady tests.  The first and second placed horses in T4 were both older horses carrying young riders.

Flingh's second show went even better.  He won both Training 1 and Training 2 with scores of 67 and 72.  In Training 1,  He had a big spook when he saw himself in a mirror for the first time!!  Baby stuff, and we were given  a minus 2, so his score would have been even better.  The rest of the test was stellar.  He was again, very well behaved, and the judge gave him 8's on both his gates and his submission.  Dawn did a terrific job!

Flingh went to his first show on June 3, and was a star (AND very well behaved at that!!)  He scored 69.02 for First Place in Training Level Test 1, and 69.69 for Training Level Test 2 for Second Place.  He hung out between tests while Dawn rode her Contucci gelding in the same classes (also doing well!) like a good boy, with no fussing or bad behavior.  We are very proud of him, and look forward to his next outing.

April 2006: Flingh is progressing well in his training, and we plan on taking him to his first show the beginning of June.  He is free jumping in nice form, and has had one trip away from home, where he was very well behaved, and after a bit of tension, settled in and worked nicely!

Just six weeks under saddle!!

Here is Flingh under saddle this week.  He is doing great, and is very willing and forward.  Dawn has done a tremendous job with him.  I got to ride him for the first time the other day, and it was a wonderful experience!!  He is fantastic and easy!  His canter is huge and ground covering.  We are taking him away from home for the first time on Saturday!

UPDATE ON FLINGH: Flingh is doing well, and has finally put on the weight that he dropped after his 3500 mile journey.  He is pictured here free schooling this past week, October 27, 2005.  He has incredible suspension in his gaits, and an over step of at least two feet!!

Dawn will be starting his ground work in January, and we plan on taking him to the breed shows and some dressage shows next summer.  He is still incredibly sweet and willing.  He gets along great in the herd, and we are all very excited to begin working with him.

Flingh C  (pronounced "Fling") is a very correct young gelding by Flemmingh (Keur, Preferent,) out of the States Premium Mare Zenit, by Caribo.  He passed his vetting with flying colors, and has now arrived at our place, and is one of the quietest, sweetest horses I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with!  He is a bit thin from his travels, but what a nice mover, and great disposition!!
