Training, Lessons, Sales, and Breeding
Emerald Spring offers training and lessons with German Certified trainer and instructor Dawn Jensen. We always have a
nice selection of young horses for sale, as well as horses brought to us on consignment. For Training,
sales and lesson inquiries contact Dawn at dasjensen@web.de
Our facility is equipped to handle stallion collection for fresh semen, with plans to expand and offer semen freezing.
Broodmare care and foaling is available in roomy 20' x 20' foaling stalls with attached paddocks. For breeding, boarding and foaling questions, contact Laura at emeraldspring@sc.rr.com
Laura Trumbower will be taking the EquineReproduction.com Reproduction Short Course in February, 2006 to learn more
about handling Frozen Semen. She has already been certified in Artificial Insemination with fresh semen from LSU.
She has foaled out over thirty mares in the last ten years, and is committed to the safety and health of both mare and
foal. Our foaling stalls will be equipped with close circuit cameras this winter, as well as infrared heating lamps
for cold early spring nights of foaling.
